Nemschoff Nala
Patient Chair
Designed around the patient
Combining ergonomic principles with innovative technologies, the Nemschoff Nala Patient Chair follows the movement of the human body as it delivers superior comfort and support. Its user-friendly design puts the sitter in charge and its function and materials meet the specialized protocols of patient-care environments. Nala can be used alone or with a coordinating ottoman.
Intuitive to use and adjust
Both armrests pivot out to assist patients in getting in and out of the chair while lessening strain. The recline adjustment lever is on both armrests to accommodate a patient’s preference. For better positioning, optional casters allow the chair to roll or lock in place. An optional handle on the back of the chair helps the clinician move the chair where it's needed.
Performance for patients
Designed to include some of the same features found in Herman Miller’s award-winning work chairs, the Nala Patient Chair is also durable, comfortable, and easy to clean. Durable steel and urethane arm pads and completely open arms allow for wiping any debris directly to the floor.
Ergonomic support
The Harmonic Tilt allows users to move synchronously within a 24-degree recline while the supportive suspension system provides total spinal support. The seat and back suspension of the Nala Patient Chair are composed of a series of firm, flexible straps encased in a layer of high-density foam.
