Responding to needs without incurring significant costs or disruptions
True modularity
Lots of companies say that their casework components are “modular”. But are they? True modularity is based on a mathematical relationship: 2 + 2 = 4. So-called "modules" based on 75-mm increments are not really modular. When it’s time to move components around, the flexibility you thought was there won’t be.
Co/Struc is truly modular – which means it is truly flexible. You can combine 610 mm and 1,220 mm components easily. Which means that you need fewer components. And only worn parts need to be replaced. That means cost savings and easy change.
Made for change
We ask clinicians to tell us what their work will look like in five years. They can’t. But we know that a typical lab will have a 20% equipment churn rate every year. Changes in staff and procedures are common too. Co/Struc is designed to adapt to that change. Downtime is reduced because the staff can easily add, remove or reconfigure components without tools or the cash, dust and disruption of a construction project.
Co/Struc allows the reuse of all components and eliminates the need to dispose of conventional casework that is damaged, the wrong size or the wrong colour. And modular components can be replaced selectively without having to replace or resurface an entire run of cabinets.
Smart and movable
Storage lockers and carts provide a highly mobile, compact, expandable materials management system. Lockers can be hung on the wall or pulled on a cart, contents intact, to reduce multiple handling of materials as they move through the facility. L carts provide smaller, efficient mobility.
Storage components are interchangeable in lockers, carts and under work surfaces. Co/Struc takes advantage of vertical space and maximises usable interior space.
Supports many applications
Laboratories. Strong, durable components create ergonomic work areas, accommodate changing technology and can be arranged as needed. Work surfaces don’t have to be supported by casework, so that under-counter storage and surfaces can be changed out in a jiffy to meet real needs.
Patient care areas. Organises supplies by use and speciality, expedites clean-up for infection control and adapts to change. For endoscopy procedures, endoscopy storage products keep sensitive, costly scopes clean, accessible and secure; the interior adapts to different scopes, supplies and accessories.
Pharmacies. Customised, efficient and ergonomically designed products maximise space, minimise steps and adapt to change in formulary and work process.
Work areas. Allows easy access to supplies, quick retrieval and protection from contamination; enhances efficiency and accommodates new procedures and priorities.
Ancillary areas. Organises and transports supplies; simplifies inventory and restocking; provides selective security; and allows future change.
