A universally recognised form that brings comfort and style to interiors everywhere

When the set was introduced in 1956, there was nothing like it – and there is still nothing to equal it today. The Eameses’ modern take on a 19th century club chair has not only endured for more than 50 years, it has become one of the most significant furniture designs of the 20th century – instantly recognisable and enduringly fresh.

Same design, lighter footprint

In keeping with our longstanding focus on environmental stewardship, we added bamboo as an upholstery option for the lounge and ottoman. Bamboo is highly renewable and still delivers the high-quality experience worthy of this iconic design. Upholstering Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman in material derived from bamboo helps us reduce the carbon footprint for the chair's materials by up to 35 per cent.
