What is Army IMMSS? IMMSS stands for Integrated Modular Medical Support System. It is a negotiated contract between Herman Miller, Inc., and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, Alabama.
How is Army IMMSS different from GSA? The discounts are equal to or better, no UNICOR waivers are necessary for Army Medical Treatment Facilities, multiple products are available under one contract, and more services are included, such as extended installation services. Design services can be purchased independently of products.
Who can access the Army IMMSS contract? Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF) or Army Medical Facilities (AMF). Those facilities which support the Army Medical Department mission. The functional uses of the facilities are broad and cover such functions as (but not limited to) hospitals, medical & health clinics, dental clinics, veterinarian clinics, administrative and logistical facilities, as well as research, training/classroom, and medical warehouse functions.
